Long Rifle
Oil on Stretched Canvas 32” x 23”
This painting was commissioned by the officers of 1(F) Squadron, RAF, and now hangs in the crew room at RAF Lossiemouth.
The painting marks the first employment of the Storm Shadow cruise missile on operations from the Typhoon, with 1(F) Squadron living up to their motto: “In Omnibus Princeps” - First in All Things.
The painting was officially unveiled at a squadron dinner, which I was honoured to attend.
Custom prints were produced as part of the commission, in association with MBDA, to include the squadron crest, a detailed description and MBDA’s logo. Canvas prints were also produced.
"On behalf of everyone at 1 Fighter Squadron I would like to thank you for your tremendous effort that has resulted in this truly fantastic painting... "
